The OOC Beginning
So, what is Wicked Rockets?

I shall tell you.

Wicked Rockets is one of the many Pokemon-based RPGs that focuses around the lovely charming villains that unite under the name of Team Rocket. It was inspired by the love we all feel for the enjoyable, comical Jessie and James, or otherwise known as Musashi and Kojirou. But it goes without saying that without the rest of the Pokemon Villain cast, it would hardly be entertaining unless we include the rest of the gang in our story.
Though the main characters from the show are already represented in this organization, we encourage participants to respect that and not claim to be one, but instead be your own character that you'll enjoy playing and that best represents yourself.

Wicked Rockets was first founded by Roxy Hina, also known as The Starlight Rocket. As one of Team Rocket's leading scientists, she found the perfect location to build her underground laboratory in the Viridian forest for a mission granted to her by the Master, Giovanni. Later she decides to add on to that and create one of the Kanto Region's main Rocket bases. In years to come, she presents the base to Giovanni's daughter, Sakei, where she then takes the name of the Wicked to the Trinity Region, to preserve it's legacy. So, technically, the Wicked Headquarters are in two locations.

The story of this Rocket Legacy began back in 2001. It wasn't until 2003, after the story (originally written and worked on between Hakai, Yamato and Starlight) had developed into a strong foundation for others to now join in on, that we built the Starlight Labs online, and then added the Headquarters' Data Base onto that.

In the beginning we left messages for each other at Starlight Labs in the Guest Book. It was our little way of keeping in touch when times were hard and we couldn't communicate with each other. Once the message boards came about, it became much easier to once again build on the story. The story boards were moved from ezboard to its own domain in 2004 after a tragic hacker destroyed most of the ezboard communities’ forums. The change was hard, but a worth while change in the end.
Wicked Rockets, before the days it went online, has gone through so many story changes and renovations with its characters. But each separate story plays an important role that holds a place in the back of our minds.
We created Wicked Rockets to unite all peoples, to extend our reaches... To blast off! And above all, to have fun. We hold some of the most talented cosplayers, RPers, and artists in the Rocket World. We stand for World Domination. We stand for Creativity. We stand for the Rocket Way!
