The Points
What It Is
Points are our way of rewarding activity on base. They are the equivalent to money and can be used to buy things in the game.

Points used to be deducted for in-game living expenses and other possible taxes, but will now only be reward-based. The only time they will be reduced is for punishment purposes (which may be avoided by following the rules). They may be spent as the character likes in the Rocket Store. All items bought at the Rocket Store will show up in your Bio.

How You Get It
First there is a sign up bonus. You're automatically rewarded 10 points. Then you have to get your dorm, so that eats up 5 pt of your signing bonus (unless of course someone is kind enough to bunk with you. It's then up to them to set a price). Also, costs of an upgraded uniform, new Pokéballs, and backpack... You now have 1 pt to your name! Yay! Well, that's when you start signing up for missions.

Missions are the main payment for agents. Besides official missions agents can go on their own exploratory missions and report back to the boss with any updates for points. Mission reward more than normal work around the base (i.e., cooking, serving--such as in the lounge, if you like to work with people--answering phones and doing small meaningless tasks for the boss and Class A agents--such as getting them coffee or dancing for them. . .) and it gets you and your Pokemon a lot of XP and skills. Aside from missions you also get rewarded some for posting in the lounge and in the Double Trouble forums.

Your character can go on as many missions at one time as you like, just as long as you can handle them. No real active participation to prove you did something will result in no points--especially if other authors have to RP your character for you.
Post length is a big part of payment. If it is no more than 3 lines (from beginning to the end of the page, not including breaks between lines) then you won't be counted for any points. We like descriptions, so the more the better. Also, we'll be rating the quality of the writing. If it breaks no rules, is put and formatted together elegantly, is in character and not too far fetched, and keeps on topic, then there will be no problems.

What happens if I go AWOL?

If you're inactive without say for more than 2 months points will stop. Being a member automatically brings you .5 points a week as long as you post once within a 2 month time frame. After that points will no longer be given. However if you give Out Of Character notice you will get 1 point a week until you return as long it doesn't exceed 6 months.

Members who sign and never post since they join will be removed after 3 months of inactivity. As long as you establish your character to the rest of the base your points will not be an issue.

Special Missions

Special Missions reward special treats. Depending on the assignment the boss can award anything from special items in game to gifts from online stores.
