Welcome Trainers!
Step 1. Read our game prologue and decide what side you want to play on!
Introduction
In the past, Wicked Rockets was a Team Rocket only RPG. We are now accepting all Original Character applications. If you do not wish to join under Team Rocket then you may sign up as a trainer, where your journey will then begin with any 6 (or less) Pokémon of your choice. If you wish to join Team Rocket, you are allowed the same, or you may pick up a Meowth kitten to start. Meowth kittens are special mission rewards new members are allowed to participate in.
Does your trainer wish to join the dark side? Not a problem. If you change your mind about your alliance (Pokemon League or a Dan) you may either talk to a Team recruiter or even start your own (contact an administrator for more details).
Players are now able to interact with like members and villains. Villains will be assigned to steal Trainer Pokémon, so don't think of it as a personal attack--its part of the game. And it's your job, as a trainer, to fend them off! The battle system is based off the Game Boy games and can be referenced to here. Trainers who manage to get all 6 sets of regional badges are rewarded a special badge (that replaces them all in their profile) and a portrait in the Hall of Legends.
Trainers
So you're starting your Pokémon journey here at Wicked Rockets? There are all new gym leaders here to battle on your journey. The more badges you have, the higher levels your Pokémon gain. Upon starting at Wicked Rockets you have a choice between any 1-6 Pokémon you want on your team. However, more rare and legendary Pokémon are saved for those who've role played their capture. Besides battling there are lots of fun contests and activities to do around the site. Our stories are player written so remember to get involved and talk to other trainers like yourself on our message board.
Watch your back! Team Rocket has grown to a large corporation and its agents run rampant everywhere. You never know who might be a member. Besides Team Rocket there are many other smaller Teams you may find yourself dealing with, such as Team Jet, among others. If you run into any Officer Jenny or Nurse Joy they'll be more than happy to help you with Pokémon theft, healing, general information, and quests. That's right! Jenny and Joy will assign you quests to get you acquainted with our world and meet new friends and Pokémon. They will also help along your questing journeys with tips about how to play.
Teams
Team Rocket: You are required to check Mission Control at least twice a month to ensure you don't miss out on missions. Three months A.W.O.L. you will be kicked out of the team and status revoked to standard Trainer. Rockets, you too have special badges. These reflect your accomplishments and credentials within the Team. Some badges earned will also give your Pokemon special stats unavailable to Trainers. Agents must be logged in to see the Team's private pages and access their forum. To learn more about your team read Team Rocket's prologue.
New Teams: So you want to start your own team? Well, seeing as Team Rocket is the largest in this time you gotta go through their boss and make sure your set up is ok. If all is fine, Victoria Moon will create a group special for your Team. It is your job as leader of the new division to manage your members (behavior as well as group application) and entertain missions and game play with them (if you feel the need). All new groups must have at least 10 members (including yourself) in order to get approved. There is a special forum for managing your group's ranks as well as recruitment, applications, rules, et cetera that is viewable once you log in. Team Rocket, after you've established yourself, may or may not affiliate with your Team.
GYM Leaders
Wish to be a gym leader? Prove your ability by battling other members and showing how active you are. Active members who have shown a keen ability to write fluidly, creatively and keep a topic going will be our top choices for any gym they want to take over. If you're interested in applying for a gym leader, please tell Victoria Moon. She will help you achieve the prerequisites required for this position.
GYM Leader M.I.A.? If it exceeds past 3 months your gym may be "taken over" by Team Rocket or another trainer. Please tell Victoria Moon if you'll be unavailable in the story or would like to assign a "sub" gym leader in your absence.
